Just south of La Paz is a small stretch of badlands, with heavily eroded limestone formations.
Actually it is more of a hill, but for some reason they prefer to call it the Moon Valley.

The landscape is indeed unearthly and certainly worth a visit. Go there In the morning, there will be less tourists on the narrow and at times treacherous paths.
