		Its main feature is
the world’s largest bronze Buddha. With a height of 88 m and a total weight of 725 tonnes this statue towers above the rim of the
		Lingshan Mountain in the background.

Another nice feature is the Nine Dragons Bathing Sakyamuni, a pool holding a
bronze lotus with 6 movable pedals. When the lotus opens Buddha rises from within and the dragons spout water.

		Other
items are the Grand Screen Wall,

the Xiangfu Temple, a replica of the Grand Buddha's right hand and a smiling Maitreya swarmed
		by 100 children.

In 2008 the Brama Palace was added.

Lingshan is a major tourist attraction with more than 2 million
		visitors per year.

When we visited the place in 1997 the Grand Buddha was just finished, when we returned in 2003
the lotus pool was just put in operation.
